Forensics competition with OPHS
Bring in your permission slips to attend this event.
We will be leaving the school at 1:15 to attend the event at OPHS.  Check with your 5th period teacher so they know you will be going.  I will send out notification, but you should let your teacher know you will be leaving early.  We are under a time constraint (the bus must get to the school in time for the afternoon run)and you must meet in the gym lobby at 1:10 so we can all leave on time. Bring copies of your script and a snack.  Dress to impress.
Due dates for assignments
Nov. 9     Rough draft of the MLK speech.  Typed, double spaced 12 font.  It should be 4-8 minutes long.

Nov. 12     Intro-One copy of each of your 2 poetry AND one of each of your 2 prose selections.  That would make 4 selections total.  You will discard one later as having less potential than the other..... after we talk about them.

Explore-You will search out two duo, storytelling, or Dramatic Interp. selections and turn in copies of them.  You will be taking this to the competition on Nov. 17 at OPHS.

Nov. 12- Signed permission forms for Forensics competition at OPHS returned.
